The Moulin Bleu is located in the heart of France, in a small Correzian village, Saint Panteleon de Larche, lying on both sides of the river Vezere.
This is really countryside France and very authentic, with a limited number of international tourists, although the area is a popular summer holiday area for the French.
The area is called ‘Land of the 1000 castles’, as it is full of castles, rivers, cages and beautiful green hills.
Although we are in the countryside, the city center of Brive-la-Gaillard is just 7 kilometers from our hotel. Brive is a town of approx, with an old city center, lots of shops and restaurants, and a weekly Saturday market where you find local produce.

Also the cities of Bordeaux and Toulouse, as well as the world-famous wine areas around Bordeaux are within 2 hours drive of the hotel.
Cahors and Chateau de Cayx (the summer house of the Danish Royal Family) and also the wine production which previously belonged to the Danish Prince Henry, are within 1 hours drive from the Moulin Bleu.
For gourmet connaisseurs, you find many truffle markets, fois gras producers.
